Big Brother is Watching You: Dreams and their meanings

Big Bro

I just wanted to say that dreams are crazy! I mean, literally have you had a dream that just was so off the wall that you wonder if you are suffering from a brain tumor? Well it just so happens that I had a doozer of a dream this morning sometime in the wee hours of the morn. Gawd! How Aldous Huxley or what...I mean I remember that our planet was being overrun by a higher order of people, and that they were breeding people based on genetic engineering and it reminded me of that novel, "Brave New World". Or even when the Vikings set foot in Canada, then the Spaniards... then the Europeans...just a note of coincidences, I guess. Hmmmmm? I really had to think about that one. I am one of those insane people who tends to think that dreams mean something. Call me crazy, but I have had dreams that came true. Too bad I haven't had one that told me the numbers to the biggest lottery in the world yet.. Oh, Please!Oh, Please! Please!
My hubby thinks that I watch too much Sci Fi, or he thinks that I am too " M-O-O-N". If you seen the series of "The Two Towers" or read the book( by Stephen King) you'll know what I'm talking about. Remember to that some aboriginal elders think that dreams tell you something. Usually there is a hidden message that you will need to have decifered if you can't figure it out for yourself or duh, get an elder to do so. I just haven't gone to one yet, because I think that he or she will tell me the same thing... QUIT WATCHING THE DAMN SPACE CHANNEL.
Ha! Ha!

  1. I haven't had a dream in a long time. And the last one was about my boss! But we will not go there. I think that dreams are ways for your brain to organize its day of activities. I have also read that if you have a rigorous mental life your dreams--or at least your ability to remember them-is stifled.

But there have been times when I have been awakened while in a dream; I have always been able to go back to sleep and continue the dream; as if I am consciously writing its direction.

Have you ever had dreams that repeat themselves? I have. they are often about scary things in my life; about fears and anxieties that I am reliving and reworking. At times it may seem torturous to once again endure some of the same bad dreams. But I think that these dreams playing in repeat is purely a healing process.

  2. Elders have some awesome dream interpretations. My sister and I awake some mornings knowing that we have been visited by the Wolf. She woke up one morning with scratches on her body where she knew weren't there when she went to bed. A few day ago, I woke up and felt this large welt on my side and I thought, OMG, how did I get that and my sister said...You were visited by the Wolf, my sister. Neat, I thought.
